About Patti
Not your average therapist.
Patti Moynihan LMFT works with adults and couples in Mount Pleasant and online across South Carolina. She brings energy, honesty, and decades of curiosity to every session.
The person behind the practice
A therapist who genuinely loves the work
Patti has spent decades chasing one question: how do people change? That question has carried her through psychology, philosophy, and shelves of well-worn books. She keeps learning, because people keep surprising her.
This is not just a job for her. It is the work she loves most. Sessions feel like real conversations — warm, honest, sometimes funny, and always moving somewhere.
“I believe every person is unique, so I create an approach specific to you.”
Her approach
Start where you are.
Patti starts by listening to whatever you are ready to share. You begin in the present, with what is happening now. You only look back when it helps you move forward.
We work as a team. You know your life. Patti knows how change happens. Her style is humanistic, collaborative, strength-based, and curious.
